Are you a budding writer?

We get lots of submissions from budding authors and illustrators, especially during the holidays and at the start of a new year. Too many for us to handle sometimes. We have to be honest and say that they aren’t always up to scratch and could have done with some work before they were sent to us. So, we would strongly recommend that if you are considering submitting something that you contact The Writers Advice Centre for Children’s Books before you do! They will give your manuscript a full appraisal and offer advice on how best to present your manuscript to a publisher.
